GT5 OPM scans and info
#1
I just came across this story on N4G -

Quote:The February 2010 issue of OPM had an exclusive 10 pages article about Gran Turismo 5 and a GT Planet user posted the scans on their forums. Here's what we learn :

- Deformation for every car in the game although race cars will see even more damage
- First screens of GT5's night racing
- 1,000+ vehicles, all with modeled interiors
- Up to 16 players online
- Indy cars and tracks will be included
- Head tracking is reconfirmed and it's for use during racing
- Multi display is back (using 3 PS3's for a wider view)
- HD uploads to YouTube
- Weather
- Night racing for all tracks
- All cars will have cockpit view (the 170 premium are the ones on which the interior will also damage - the rest only external damage)
- Night & Day cycle and weather effects on all tracks
- Damage (visual and mechanical)

Enjoy . Smile

Multi-display means more than one display.

i middle and 2 one the sides to provide a wider view that is more like the cockpit of your car. the middle will display the typical stuff you would see in racing games; hands, steering wheel, and all that. the left would be like what you could see out the left window, and the right would do passenger dash little bit of the left window. Unless you are in a right drive car in which it switches.

Multi display would be sweeeet but there's no way the wife lets me buy and place two more TVs in the living room.

Well not unless I wanted to sleep down there for the rest of my life lol

Dude. Just get the TV's. You'll be close to the fridge, full access to all you need, 'round the clock. Oh, and she'll come around because she's got "needs" too. Wink
