ONCE YOU’VE GOT people hooked on a service, the sky is the limit.
That seems to be the approach Microsoft is taking here in the UK at least, with it proposing a 50% price hike on its no doubt very popular Xbox Live! Service.

As the following emissive customers are getting indicates pretty clearly.

how much is x-box live normally?
will this stop you from buying x-box live or will the added games make you want to continue playing online?
*piano starts* It seems today, that all you see, is violents in videogames and mainstream. But where are those good ol\' quality titles, in which we used to rely? Lucky there\'s a Nintendo. Lucky there\'s a company, who\'s not all about the money, who cares about quality and makes sure their consumers are happy! It\'s a Nin-ten-dooooooooooo!!!

I only play http://www.warppipe.com* double dash/1080/kirby air ride because it is free, I refuse to pay to play a month.

There is also x-box tunneling software:

Lets hope enough people refuse to pay and they have to rethink their price hike.

If it's successful and they don't lose customers it's just going to pave the way for Sony and any PC 'pay monthly' services to raise their price as well:mad:

Is there any place that says where the money is going to?

If the servers aren't perfect, maybe your money will be worth it.

I know Socom servers, at least in North America, could use some money for revamping.
